The obvious questions.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes. ChairHold is bring-your-own-Stripe. The deposit flows from your client straight to your Stripe balance — we never hold or route the money. If you don’t have Stripe yet, signup takes about 4 minutes.

What happens if the client no-shows?

You keep the deposit. That’s the whole point — you’re no longer subsidizing no-shows with free chair time. Refunds are one click if you choose to give one.

I’m already on Booksy / Fresha. Do I have to move?

No. Run both. Paste the ChairHold link in your IG bio, leave Booksy where your existing clients already go. Over time you’ll see which one actually fills the chair.

Do you take a percentage of each deposit?

No. $9/mo flat. You pay Stripe’s ~2.9%+30¢ standard processing (same as anywhere else), and that goes to Stripe, not to us. We don’t see the money.

Can my clients still text me to book directly?

Of course. ChairHold is one more option, not a replacement for how you already work. The goal is: new clients pre-pay, regulars keep texting.
